11/02: Andrew Patterson: New Jokes, Bad Decisions

About this event

Andrew Patterson is a stand up comedian who tends to come across sweet and silly, right up until he says something you absolutely did not see coming.

His comedy is personal, weird, and occasionally reckless. He doesn’t always know where the line is, and sometimes realizes he crossed it after the fact.

But it rarely feels mean. It’s more like watching someone wander into chaos with a smile.

New Jokes, Bad Decisions is a free solo stand up show built around the process of creating Andrew’s next hour.

Most of the material will be new.

Some jokes might be rough. Some might surprise you. Some might completely collapse.

That’s the point.

Every year Andrew’s goal is to take the strongest material he has built, old and new, and turn it into the best hour he can perform around the anniversary of starting stand up in June.

This show is part of that process.

You’re getting to watch the experiment happen in real time.
