- ➤ Family Promise of Lawton is holding its Second Chance Christmas raffle fundraiser for a Nintendo Switch 2, selling tickets at $10 or three for $25 with the drawing scheduled for Jan. 16. The fundraiser will help cover funding delays due to the federal shutdown. ABC 7
- ➤ VFW Post 1193 in Lawton will host its monthly Feed the Community event Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. The free meal offers smothered pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a roll, dessert and drink (to-go plates are served after 2 p.m.). ABC 7

- ➤ Lawton Business Women celebrated 100 years (their centennial milestone) during a ribbon cutting and certificate event on Wednesday afternoon, organized by the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber Red Coats. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The FISTA Development Trust Authority approved an agreement with Tradesman Architectural Studios (an OKC firm) to serve as owner's representative for the Youth Science Institute. The decision, made Tuesday, marks a key step for the project in Lawton. The Lawton Constitution
