- ➤ KSWO partnered with the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum to honor Charlotte Andrea Lewis Thomas, a 43-year-old federal worker who served 17 years and produced the Black Awareness program; her legacy is remembered as part of the tribute to the 168 lives lost in the Oklahoma City Bombing. Those who knew her said she was always ready to help others. ABC 7
- ➤ Jersey Mike’s Subs in Lawton will hold its Day of Giving on March 26th to benefit Comanche County Memorial Hospital’s Starlight Unit, with all proceeds from sales going to the hospital’s foundation for a safe haven box and new baby monitors. The owner is also offering a free drink or sub to donors during the month of giving — a measure to help local children. ABC 7
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Lawton firefighters responded to a home fire early Tuesday morning at the 700 block of NW 32nd street (12:30 a.m.) as the fire appeared to have started in the garage (cause under investigation). ABC 7

- ➤ Cameron will host its annual FFA Interscholastic Meet on April 11—inviting high school agriculture students from across Oklahoma to compete. The Lawton Constitution

- ➤ On Friday, March 21, Altus Air Force Base hosted an exclusive media day when 7News anchor Dave Hunter flew aboard a KC135 for a mid-air refueling demonstration. The base will host an open house and air show called Altus Airpower Stampede from April 12—April 13 and the event is free to the public. ABC 7
