- ➤ The Downtown Showdown, a car show benefiting Fishy’s Friends Rescue, will open the 2026 season Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the northwest corner of Central Plaza parking lot — car owners must enter from D Avenue with on-site registration for $20 per car. ABC 7
- ➤ The City of Lawton will host its free Open Streets event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. downtown, closing C Avenue from 2nd to 5th and featuring local vendors, nonprofits and volunteer groups. ABC 7

- ➤ Cash Saver in Lawton is set to close within 45 days as Homeland restructures its retail operations — the move involves closing four locations and consolidating three, with affected employees transferred to other sites. Customers will need to find alternatives for affordable shopping. ABC 7
