Good morning, Lawton.

KSWO, in partnership with the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, honored the 168 victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing.

They remembered 40-year-old Alan G. Whicher (from Edmond) who served as an assistant special agent in charge and called his wife twenty minutes before the explosion on April 19.

A Lawton man pleaded guilty on Thursday to killing his sister during an April 2024 incident after he first pleaded not guilty in October 2024.

City of Lawton engineers launched a process to rebuild the deteriorating bridges on South 11th Street—inviting bids from construction firms.
