- ➤ CASA of Southwest Oklahoma is hosting Touch-A-Truck today at Lawton Classic Chevrolet on NW Cache Rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., where children can explore vehicles like ambulances, police cruisers, trash trucks, & the Storm Hunter with a special sensory time from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and the first 200 children will receive free snow cones. - ➤ The KCA Veterans are hosting a bingo and food sale fundraiser today at Apache High School that offers 15 bingo games for $15 + a combo of pulled pork, chips and a drink for $10. The event includes a cake walk and raffles, and all proceeds will support the Veterans’ Powwow on May 17. ABC 7

- ➤ First responders in Comanche County handled a rollover in Elgin early Friday morning when crews from the Comanche Nation Police, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and local emergency teams reached the 8600 block of Wolf Road at about 1:20 a.m., with no update on the occupants' condition. ABC 7

- ➤ Today, the Red River Craft Beer Festival returns to the Comanche County Fairgrounds Expo Building, offering craft beer, food trucks & vendors. The event benefits the Great Plains Chapter of AMBUCS with general admission at $50 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., VIP access at $75 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and designated drivers available for $10. ABC 7

- ➤ Governor Kevin Stitt spoke at the Greater Lawton Rotary Club luncheon this week and outlined his final term priorities—he plans to advance the Half and Path Plan for income tax reform, the Behind the Meter Plan for power generation, and a Business Courts Initiative. He said he will continue to focus on education, the economy, roads and bridges, and health care. ABC 7
- ➤ The Lawton Police Department (LPD) rescheduled its free Motorcycle Riders Course from today to Saturday, May 3 due to weather concerns, and those interested may email [email protected] for more details. ABC 7
