- ➤ The Lawton Mobile Meals Program is seeking volunteer drivers to help deliver lunch for residents—volunteers are needed to support local service. The Lawton Constitution
- ➤ On Saturday, Dog Days at the Lawton Farmers Market helped pet owners get discounted vaccinations and free heartworm tests provided by Lawtonka Animal Chiropractic and Veterinary Hospital. The event also featured dog adoptions from Lawton Animal Welfare + aimed to help find homes for pets displaced by recent flooding. ABC 7
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ First responders put out a small fire at Lawton’s Outback Steakhouse last night—officials say the blaze may have started from a light along the roof trim, causing minimal damage and smoke throughout the building. ABC 7

- ➤ Gov. Kevin Stitt is expected to sign two bills that require school districts to ban cell phones in classrooms — the bills also limit the use of virtual days. The Lawton Constitution
