- ➤ The Southwestern Oklahoma Development Authority received a $30,000 grant from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to start a Mileage Reimbursement Pilot project aimed at reducing missed healthcare visits + supporting wellness in rural areas. - ➤ Choctaw Nation opened its one-of-a-kind Emerging Aviation Technology Center on Tuesday afternoon in Daisy on the 44,000-acre Choctaw Ranch — an 8,000-square-foot facility where a team is testing drones and electric aircraft to deliver life-saving supplies to rural areas. ABC 7
- ➤ The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is hosting its annual youth camp at Camp Goddard on Arbuckle Lake for 32 selected kids to learn about wildlife conservation careers. 3rd annual set free praise dance conference
This community event is to encourage and empower our youth and young adults to use their gift of dance to build their relationship with God and draw others to Him. We are also bridging the generational gap with our youth to mentor and share life experiences to help them become servant leaders. Friday night will be a night of praise and worship, with instruction on the importance of covering as ministers and how colors have important meaning. Saturday will be all-day workshops including dance technique, mime, and lyrical dance. Each dancer will have two dance workshops based on their training and experience.
