CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The 11th Annual Freedom Festival kicks off today at 5 p.m. — a crew put up a tent near the stage at Elmer Thomas Park on Wednesday to prepare for the weekend event. The Lawton Constitution
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Stitt kicked off the Make Oklahoma Healthy Again campaign yesterday during a press conference with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—he signed an order directing state agencies to stop supplying foods with artificial dyes to prisons and public schools to help improve health outcomes. ABC 7
- ➤ Senate Bill 31, signed into law by Governor Kevin Stitt, will take effect on July 1 to give eligible National Guard members help paying for CareerTech classes. Senator Carrie Hicks, who wrote the bill, said it shows the state's support for their service + reflects a bipartisan effort. ABC 7

3rd annual set free praise dance conference
This community event is to encourage and empower our youth and young adults to use their gift of dance to build their relationship with God and draw others to Him. We are also bridging the generational gap with our youth to mentor and share life experiences to help them become servant leaders. Friday night will be a night of praise and worship, with instruction on the importance of covering as ministers and how colors have important meaning. Saturday will be all-day workshops including dance technique, mime, and lyrical dance. Each dancer will have two dance workshops based on their training and experience.
