Good morning, Lawton.

The Pecan Creek Volunteer Fire Department held its annual fundraiser today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the station where local families enjoyed food and a silent auction — the auction featured painted helmets by Eisenhower Middle School students.

Community members laced up for The Alzheimer’s Association Annual Walk at Bentley Gardens on Cameron University’s Lawton campus as a pre-walk party took place—more than 200 people registered and raised $54,600 to support Alzheimer’s research, exceeding a $45,000 goal.
