GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ This week, citizens at the Lawton Citizens’ Academy toured the Southeast Water Treatment Plant and learned how microbes treat wastewater instead of chemicals. Officials explained that upgrades reduced water main breaks from 850 to 384 per year and replaced over 50 miles of sewer mains in Lawton + the academy will end next Friday with sessions on other city departments.
