HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Dr. Christopher Neumann at Comanche County Memorial Hospital is introducing two minimally invasive procedures to help patients in Lawton with back pain from compression fractures—Kyphoplasty offers quick pain relief and Intracept treats pain by cauterizing a nerve inside the spine. Patients needing more information will be referred by their primary doctor or notified through the ER. ABC 7
- ➤ A new Oklahoma law went into effect on Nov 3 that updates the state’s breast cancer law—ensuring diagnosis and extra services are covered with no out-of-pocket costs. The law follows expert recommendations to help make early detection and treatment more accessible. ABC 7
