  • Kelly New, a welding teacher at Lawton High School, was awarded a $12,000 grant from the Lawton Public School Foundation for the third consecutive time to support his program.  The Lawton Constitution

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality issued a third Notice of Violation to Lawton's Wastewater Treatment Plant for infrastructural inefficiencies and improper reporting, even as the city has been implementing significant upgrades.  ABC 7

  • The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs successfully completed a water system remediation at the Lawton Veterans Home, resuming normal operations and ensuring the safety of its residents.  ABC 7
