  • The 43rd Annual Living Christmas Tree event, featuring a 100-voice choir and full orchestra, offers free admission with a request for non-perishable food donations at First Baptist Church, Lawton — Fort Sill.  The Lawton Constitution
  • The Alpha Battery 5-5 Air Defense Artillery Battalion returned home after a 14-month deployment in time for the holidays, greeted by emotional family and friends.  The Lawton Constitution

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Lawton firefighters quickly responded to a vacant house fire near 19th and Irwin on Dec. 5, with no injuries reported.  ABC 7

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Lawton Public Library collaborates with Fort Sill Credit Union to offer a free, registration-required financial literacy Lunch & Learn series next week.  ABC 7

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Lawton Community Health Fair offered a variety of health services, including insurance enrollment and vaccinations, as well as support for veterans and donations of warm clothes for the unhoused.  ABC 7
