  • The Lawton/Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce is requesting food donations to support the deployed 31st Air Defense Artillery Unit during the holidays, with a deadline for drop-offs by Dec. 12.  ABC 7
  • Lawton's ongoing road construction projects on Cache Road and Rogers Lane are set to complete between late April and mid-winter, aimed at improving traffic flow.  ABC 7
  • The Lawton Police Department is set to host its annual 'Shop with a Cop' event to aid and bond with local students over holiday shopping on December 10.  ABC 7
  • In Lawton, Brenda Spencer-Ragland's commitment to the C. Carter Crane Shelter has brought community support and hope for its future, including plans for improved accessibility.  ABC 7
  • First Baptist West to host 'Christmas at West', a worship event featuring choirs, a live nativity, and animals on Dec. 15th at 6 pm.  ABC 7
  • The Lawton City Council plans to approve a lease agreement with Ralph’s Family Resort LLC to manage Ralph's Resort at Lake Ellsworth, replacing the long-time operators, the Perry family.  The Lawton Constitution

  • The Lawton Public Library launched a free Financial Literacy Lunch & Learn series with Fort Sill Credit Union, starting with a session on protecting against scams targeting seniors, with part two focusing on debt management strategies.  ABC 7
