- ➤ Students at Elgin Elementary School raised nearly $1,500 in a 10-day Penny War to support Lawton Food Bank (over 20 classrooms took part), helping to provide meals for about 500 local residents; winning classes celebrated with pizza and ice cream parties. ABC 7

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Attorney General’s Office announced that CVS Caremark will pay $5,081,520 to reimburse pharmacies for 68,099 prescriptions filled between January 2024 and August 2025 — eligible pharmacies will receive written payment instructions soon. Southwest Ledger
