- ➤ Phelps granddaughter Charyl Barraza said Sandra (Sandi) Phelps was a loving grandmother who died unexpectedly on Christmas Day. Family viewings held today and tomorrow honor her generous spirit as granddaughters share that they would have hugged her a little longer. ABC 7
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At Cameron University, students can complete admissions, financial aid & veterans’ benefits processing on Jan. 10 during Enrollment Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the first floor of North Shepler Tower in the Shepler Center, with spring classes set to begin on Jan. 12. ABC 7

- ➤ The City of Lawton will mail letters about its lead water service line inventory as it enters the next phase of a federally required project for public water systems. Residents will learn more details from the forthcoming mailing. The Lawton Constitution
- ➤ Fort Sill is hosting multiple events as the new year begins. The Twin Oaks Bowling Center celebration will be held on Dec. 31, followed by an archery tournament on Jan. 17 at an outdoor adventure center + Key Gate West will be closed for construction on Jan. 5. ABC 7

- ➤ Parks Jones Realtors reported that 429 homes are on the market in Lawton with an average asking price of $209,820—marking a 25% increase in listing duration from last year—and 1,499 homes were sold in the past 12 months as 30-year mortgage rates hold at 6.25%. ABC 7
